Your screenshots stay on your device
Screenshots, text recognition (OCR) and PDF generation all run locally on your phone using the operating system's on-device text recognition. Your screenshots, the recognized text and the exported files are never uploaded to any server. The app has no account system and does not collect your name, email address or contacts.
Data we collect
- Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, if you allow tracking; Google Advertising ID on Android) — used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
- Anonymous app user ID — generated by RevenueCat to manage your subscription status. It is not linked to your identity.
- Diagnostics — crash and performance data provided by Apple or Google when you have opted in at the OS level.
Third parties
- Google AdMob — advertising.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing. We never see your payment details.
Your choices
- Ads personalization: Settings → Privacy options (EEA/UK), or your device's ad settings.
- iOS tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Premium removes all ads.
GDPR / CCPA rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email support@demorlabs.com. We do not sell personal data.
Data deletion
Because the app stores no personal data on our servers, deleting the app removes all app data from your device. To delete the anonymous subscription record held by RevenueCat, email support@demorlabs.com with the subject "Data deletion" and we will complete it within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
